My Story

Let me tell you my story.

​My name is Annah Furr. I have 3 children ages 21, 22,  and 28. When I was 18, I went from high school straight into the working world, where I was employed in several different jobs, including daycare and food service. At the age of 23, with a 3-year-old to care for, I decided to return to school where I received my AAS degree. I entered the world of Occupational Therapy just in time. My second child was born meeting all milestones, but unfortunately was injured in a hospital procedure which resulted in permanent medical issues. I have experienced the therapy world not only from the standpoint of a provider of therapy services but also as a parent whose child received therapy services. My child has provided me more education and experience than any school could have. This life experience has  allowed me to connect on a personal level with the children and families that I treat, and for that I am truly blessed.
